Child safety system failing First Nations violence survivors
Today, a new report released by the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak found out First Nations survivors of domestic and family violence do not have the adequate response services to heal.
The report also shows most services are not culturally appropriate for First Nations violence survivors, and the aim of the report is to develop a framework where governments implement it so victims start healing from the intergenerational trauma.
