Reflecting on the Federal Election
After over a week of counting the votes, and a tight election race, we have a new Labor government. This comes at an important time, with Reconciliation Week this week and Pride Month beginning yesterday.
However, it is clear that Labor will need to negotiate with the crossbench to vote matters through the Senate and House of Representatives. Many Australians hope that this will keep the Labor government accountable to their election promises.
