The Baird government has announced cuts to paramedics working conditions. The cuts will see their injury income be less than their sick pay. The Australian Paramedics Association (NSW) is concerned changes to the working conditions of paramedics will mean they are likely to lose their homes and be forced onto welfare if they are badly hurt on the job. Producer Lucy Ross spoke to Steve Pearce President of the Australian Paramedics Association, who is also a working paramedic, about what the cuts could mean.
