Victoria to adopt a solution to ambulance ramping
Ambulance ramping has been an ongoing problem across Australia for years, and the COVID pandemic exacerbated the issue across the health sector.
Paramedics can stay hours outside the ER waiting for patients to be admitted to hospital.
But Victoria is proposing a similar method to the UK to alleviate ramping in hospitals, which includes community paramedics and coordinating the patient’s care into the community.
