National Science Week is about to wrap up! School children and science enthusiasts right around the country have been learning a whole lot about STEM and showing off their research. One aspect of science we don’t talk about so much is Indigenous science and how that fits in today’s society and our current understanding of the world. One group that is breaking down those barriers and help preserve important culture and knowledge is the National Indigenous Science Education Program which is hosting an event open to the public tomorrow at Redfern Community Centre from 10am is the Indigenous Science Experience. Maddy our host had the pleasure of speaking to Associate Professor Joanne Jamie from Macquarie University who helps run the Experience.
