The world was shocked when the June 2016 referendum saw Britain vote to leave the European Union. The international scene is still reeling from the result. In the latest developments European governments have urged Australia to put all trade discussions with Britain on the backburner in preference of securing agreements with the European Union. 2SER was joined by Dr Mark McGovern, Senior Lecturer at QUT Business School, Economics and Finance, talking us through the debate and what he believes Australia should do.
