A new national plan to end violence against women and children
To address and ultimately prevent violence against women and children, the Labor government has introduced a new national policy .
The National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children (2022 to 2032) policy aims to tackle the significant increase of domestic violence as national statistics showed that : 1 in 6 women have experienced physical partner abuse and 1 in 5 have experienced sexual violence.
