Seeing is Believing. Art and pain intersect
The combination of art and science is not something that is seen together very often, but in an exhibition currently showing at the University of NSW called ‘Seeing is Believing‘, we are able to experience, first-hand the link between art and science.
The science is behind the idea of pain and how people feel it in different ways, specifically sufferers of chronic pain. Eugenie Lee suffers from endometriosis herself and wanted to communicate a little of what she feels. She joined breakfast to discuss the exhibition.
This exhibit continues until the 6th of August at UNSW Galleries – Corner of Oxford St and Greens Rd, Paddington and you can book your free tickets in advance at eventbrite
