Around Town: August 5-7, 2016
Your weekend start here! Each week Nic runs down some of the great events happening around Sydney so you can get a headstart on planning for your weekend. This week:
– In the House Cult Classics continues with a showing of 2001’s Donnie Darko. Join hosts Jabba and Quinny at Event Cinema on George St this Friday
– International Beer Day: bend the wrist and give to charity to celebrate IBD. Both the Dove and Olive and the Keg and Brew are serving up Karma Kegs to raise money for Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation
– The Sydney Dog Lover’s Show is on at the Hordern Pavilion both days this week. Just $25 gets you more dogs (and dog related info and events) that you could throw a stick for
– Saturday August 6 is the start of the brand new Sculpture at Barangaroo event. Beautiful foreshore walks and stunning sculture. And it’s free!
– Finally, hit the Vic on the Park this Friday a great gig to raise money as part of the Reclink Community Cup.
