The Chills are one of New Zealand’s (and the world’s) most iconic guitar pop bands.

Architects of the Dunedin Sound, The Chills have been creating chiming, hook-laden guitar pop records since the 80’s and they’re still going today, in a buoyant new phase of creative vigour and consistently brilliant showmanship.

They’ll be performing a night of Heavenly Pop Hits at the City Recital Hall, a purpose-built live performance venue with world-class acoustics located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, on Thursday 16 February.

Martin Phillips from The Chills caught up with 2SER Breakfast in anticipation of what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime gig.
