Soaring rental crisis leaves Aussie students worse off

Australia is facing its steepest rental price increase since 2004, causing difficulties for students across the country to secure accommodation.

A 2022 Finder survey reveals 13% of Australians, or roughly 2.6 million people, have moved back in with their families, due to financial difficulties. 

Reports state that because of limited properties on the market, landlords are able to ask for exceedingly high prices, and tenants are compelled to pay.
