Fill up with Green Hydrogen
We think of hydrogen balloons and H2O but we should be thinking is how we can utilise this easily manufactured resource as a fuel.
The way in which we currently use fuels like oil, petrol and gas could easily be replaced by hydrogen.
Of course the Hindenburg disaster is a graphic warning as to how not to handle a volatile gas, but in fact hydrogen is less flammable than petrol, so with care in handling it could prove to be the energy source of the future. Emeritus Professor John Mathews explains how it could happen in his book: A Solar-Hydrogen Economy
