The Economic Costs of the War in Syria
The war in Syria has stretched on for five years now and the human cost is insurmountable. Innocent bystanders have been killed in their thousands, families have been torn apart and the new generation of Syria have lost their childhoods, and now it might seem they’ve lost their futures as well. A new report from World Vision says not only has the human cost been enormous but the economic cost may have put Syria in a depression that could be unrecoverable.
To discuss this persecution further, Sean Britten was joined on the line by Emma Wanchap from World Vision Australia who is the Co-Author of the report into the situation in Syria.
