$70 million for eating disorders and mental health
On Monday the Albanese government announced $70 million of funding in grants for innovative programs targeting eating disorders and childhood mental health.
In Australia, an estimated one million plus people are living with eating disorders. This funding has reached organisations such as the University of Sydney’s InsideOut Institute and the National Eating Disorders Collaboration, and it hopes to provide better outcomes in this sector.
