Sounds Like Home is the fifth studio album from LA-based producer Captain Planet, aka Charlie Wilder.

As a lifelong collector and lover of 70s soul and jazz music, Wilder brings all these various strands together in his sound. And it’s a masterclass of modern funk and disco that is expertly arranged using strings, live horn sections and retro-electronic production elements. With these powers combined, the record shifts superbly between classic disco, afro-jazz, AOR and reggae, with groove being the connecting element across an excellent and diverse fifteen tracks that feature a wide range of co-collaborators.
