Some economists have been looking at the conditions that signal a recession could be looming.

The much anticipated Reserve bank decision on Interest rates settled on a pause yesterday leaving rates at 4.1%.

This put the spotlight on the economy and the better than expected inflation figures a few weeks ago.

The question is whether the inflation has topped out as Prime Minster Anthony Albanese has claimed
