On this show, the Allergies stop back in for a quick chat in between tour dates promoting their brilliant new album, ‘Tear The Place Up’ on Jalapeno Records! The album is bursting with their trademark explosive energy and is a real departure in many ways with a newer twist of afro beat and ragga vibes melding in with hundreds (possibly thousands) of funky and forgotten wax samples, dope drums, and slick cuts, resulting in quite the block party classic. With long time collaborators Andy Cooper and Marietta Smith being joined by Bootie Brown (The Pharcyde), afro-beat pioneer Dele Sosimi and Joe Lickshot, we got plenty we chat to the boys about amongst 2 sets of brand-new beats and old school fire.
