Is social media making millennials an increasingly lonely generation?
Social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are keeping young people connected more than ever – but, at the same time, they’re reporting feeling more socially isolated. New research has revealed that an alarming 1 in 6 Australians aged 18-34 are feeling lonely every day.
