From Japan’s devastating earthquake & tsunami in 2011 to Italy’s recent earthquake that killed and injured over 240 people, the Earth has seen the full scale of destruction and havoc that is caused by this natural disaster. Today we chatted to Dr Behzad Fatahi, a UTS Senior Lecturer in UTS Geotechnical and Earthquake Engineering about this global issue, what to expect and how we should better prepare ourselves for the future.
