The Federal Government has announced a new strategy for Australia’s migration system that seeks to solve national issues with skilled individuals.

According to Settlement Services International, recognition of skill and experience has been insufficient.

The Wire’s Calvin Lee asked SSI’s Head of Research and Policy, Dr Tadgh McMahon what this strategy means for migrant roles in Australian industry.
