New Report reveals High Death Toll on Roads

A new report by the Australian Automobile Association has revealed an increase in road accidents leading to death this past year. It is the highest road toll since March 2018, and with 1, 253 deaths this year is an 6.3% increase when compared to the previous reporting year. This data comes after the 2026 Road Safety Action Plan was released last year, aiming to halve deaths and injuries by 2030, and achieve 0 deaths on NSW roads by 2050.
