Film: Poor Things
Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos (The Favourite) reunite for a fantastical reworking of Frankenstein. Set a steampunk Victorian London, Stone plays Bella Baxter who, after a life threatening accident, begins a journey of self- discovery as she reorients herself in a surreal world. Also starring Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe and Ramy Youssef, Poor Things is an imaginative odyssey that will leave you shocked, surprised and astonished.

Film: All of Us Strangers
Directed by Andrew Haigh, this romantic fantasy stars Andrew Scott (Sherlock) as Adam, a screenwriter working in London whilst grappling with loneliness and his sexuality. After he reciprocates the feelings of his neighbour Harry, Adam begins to explore the relationships he has with his parents, himself, the past and future. Timelines begin to blur and the present becomes something hard to define as All of Us Strangers delves into who Adam is and where his life has been and is headed.

Film: The Holdovers
A cinematic throw-back to the boarding school experience of the 1970s, The Holdovers focuses on Angus Tully (Dominic Sessa), a student who is left at his New England Boarding school over the Christmas Break when his parents cancel their family holiday. Keeping watch over the students is the grouchy and domineering Classics Professor Paul Hunham (Paul Giamatti). Through disagreement, pranks and genuine connection, the two develop a real friendship in between the comedy and drama.

Album: Three Bells, Ty Segall
The 15th studio album from the prolific Ty Segall is an epic journey clocking in at over an hour. This double album of 15 tracks is a beautiful and dense listen, as Segall moves ever further from his garage rock origins into an expansive psychedelic folk territory. Great drums, laidback rock and foot to the floor rockers, cements Three Bells as Segall’s best work to date.
