The Mardi Gras Film Festival is one of the world’s largest platforms for queer cinema.

Presented by Queer Screen, a non-profit local charity dedicated to showcasing LGBTIQ+ stories on screen, the festival has been running since 1993 and is is now one of Australia’s largest film festivals of any kind.

This year’s festival theme revolves around conversation, focusing on films that spark debates, ignite conversations, and get tongues wagging.

Festival Director Lisa Rose joined 2SER Breakfast to get the conversation started on what promises to be an amazing festival.
