The Indian diaspora in Australia ranks second place as one of the top culturally and linguistic populations in Australia according to the latest census.
As the Indian population in begins to age many parents and grandparents find themselves moving in with their children in Australia.
The Wire Renu Tiwary explores how moving countries at an older stage presents its challenges of loneliness when adapting to a new country.
Speaking to 71-year-old retired professor, Dr Prabhod Malhotra, on his accomplishment of completing a 1300 km walk from Melbourne to Sydney for the second time, to raise funds for breast cancer.
