Friday(‘s at 7:30pm) I’m In Love (With Watching Ready, Steady, Cook)!

If you were to organise a dinner party and invite all of the different TV chefs to appear on our screens in the last 20 years, you would be in some pretty esteemed company. Jamie Oliver. Huey. Nigela. Poh! All of these names are absolutely soaking (marinating, even) in good will- good will earned by plating up dish after delicious dish of their own recipes. But few have been able to reach the energetic highs of Miguel Maestre.

After moving to Australia in his 20’s Miguel has cooked for some of the biggest names and events in the world, all while maintaining a humility that keeps a smile well and truly planted on his face. And now he is ready to take on a new project in his career- the enviable role of host of Ready, Steady, Cook!

The show is back on air as of this week and, having seen a taping of one episode myself, I simply HAD to talk to Miguel all about it (as well as some other stuff, of course).

Have a listen to the full chat here and remember- when in doubt, always vote capsicum.
