Dream State :: 8:00am 10th Mar 2024
Thank you for tuning into Dream State here on 2ser 107.3!
Today was one of my favourite shows to date, a very busy morning at the 2ser studios. Today reminded me of the connection that comes through music and live radio – it really is one of my favourite art forms.
From 8-9am, I was joined in the studio by my beautiful friend, ex-bass player and angel, Kamyar Murphy. They came prepped with an hour’s worth of tunes that they found fitting for the show. Was so lovely to (somewhat) hand over the programming reigns and have someone else talk about the music they love and why they love it so much. Looking forward to having more guests on in the future.
Then, from 9:15 to the end of the show, I was joined by Post! They’re a 5-piece band from Sydney who have just put out their latest album, ‘Fitzville’. Originally the brainchild of drummer, Matthew Wykniet, Post has evolved to a beautiful collaboration rich with light and harmony. Iz, Sol and Matt joined LIVE in the studios this week for a chat and a special acoustic performance of June and Manderley (aptly named after the house from Rebecca).
