Controversy over police wearing potential right-wing symbols

Last Sunday, pro-Palestinian protestors were arrested by Police at Port Botany in Sydney, impacting the demonstration.

The policing of the protests included some police officers who were reported to have been wearing an Australian flag patch with a thin blue line through it, a symbol associated with right wing extremism.

The Wire’s Zachary Probert spoke with President of the NSW Council for Civil Liberties, Lydia Shelly, to discuss the issue further.
