Housing Density on the Rise
Sydneysiders like many people around Australia are feeling the pressure of a housing crisis at boiling point, as property and rent prices reach new highs.
The NSW government is facing up to the task of ensuring ample housing supply to cater for Sydney’s growing population, with new planning measures that promise to increase density in prime locations.
In the affluent suburban council of Ku-ring-gai on Sydney’s North Shore, the local residents and council are bracing for the impacts these changes are set to have on their historic neighbourhoods.
