Vietnamese-Australian art collective, VŨ TRỤ Inc. Dennis Nguyen & Nguyễn Vũ Trụ are explorers of identity and culture.
Their recent exhibition, “The Legend of Asia” hosted at the 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, was a captivating exploration of divinity and consumer culture. The exhibition, featuring a sneaker concept store for the hypothetical ASIA SPORT SHOES, cleverly satirized hype culture and contemporary art while navigating the intersection of Eastern Folk religion and Western consumerism.
