Drug reform needed in New South Wales
On 2 May 2024, the New South Wales Council for Civil Liberties will host a discussion panel about the need for drug reform in the state.
The last reform in the state was done in 1999, and experts say New South Wales needs to shift away from treating drugs from a criminal perspective to a health issue, similar to the ACT.
