Continuous growth poses challenge for infrastructure

The term exponential growth, it means a system in which the larger the system is the larger its growth spurts will be every time it expands. Human beings love their exponential growth of land, wealth, power and infrastructure but since the dawn of the industrial age our reach have encompassed the whole planet and as we make constant inroads into more and more natural territory the affects on our environment and the overall health of our planet has been devestating. Far from slowing down between now and 2050 our infrastructure, roads, buildings and all those things we make use of are set to explode.
