Kidfluencers
With the rise of social media, children are now dominating the world of influencers becoming “kidfluencers”, using their platform to share their lives and promote products. This has now become the new normal, projected to become a multi-billon dollar industry worldwide. But with this increase of young people posting themselves on social media, brands and online users have been exploiting these children in multiple ways. We spoke on this subject with Dr Kate Delmo, Head of Discipline and Strategic Communication at UTS.
