This week on the Local Artist Spotlight on 2SER, Mitch Lumsden caught up with local dream pop band Ultracrush…

The debut EP by Eora/Sydney based five-piece Ultracrush is a six track journey of nostalgia through varying sounds of shoegaze, dream pop and even some alt-country thrown in the mix. Featuring collaborations with Ella Mosley (Hubcaps) and produced by Simon Lam (Phoebe Go, Cub Sport, Juice Webster), “On Your Return” is the culmination of years of varying demos, recording sessions and sees Ultracrush showcase the embodiment of their gentle and ethereal sound.
