Penrith’s only regular standup comedy room celebrated its 1-year anniversary last week.

Each month, Comedy X, which is located at the Elton Chong Bar on High Street, plays host to some of Sydney’s most experienced and best up and coming comedians.

Nelson Scott chats with the room’s founder and MC, Rodney Owen, to find out what Comedy X is all about, the importance of regular comedy in Western Sydney and what plans he has in store for the room in the future.
