Duchenne Muscular Dystrohpy
Muscular Dystrophy is a broad term that is used for more than 30 different muscle diseases, that results in the weakening and breakdown of skeletal muscle.
The most common type is Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, or DMD, which typically affects males in their early years, but it is also known to affect females as well.
