Labor’s response to the Disability Royal Commission “Disappointing”
The Labor Government’s response to last year’s disability Royal Commission has been met with disappointment from disability advocacy groups, who say that not enough has been done to follow through with the recommendations made by the Commission.
The response is aimed at improving job pathways and employment opportunities for people with disabilities, but seems to ignore the evidence of violence and exploitation experienced by people with disabilities as laid out in the Commission.
