“Seahorse Hotels”: Sydney Seahorse Project’s Bold Plan to Save the Seahorses

Out of all the sea creatures to be found in Sydney’s waters, seahorses are surely one of the most fascinating. Unfortunately the seahorse, one of our most beloved sea creatures, has been facing a bit of trouble lately. That’s where the Sydney Seahorse Project steps in.

They have come up with a project called “Operation Posidonia”. The plan? Build hotels for seahorses to try and stimulate some much-needed population growth. Friday Daily host Eleanor Godley was joined by Sydney Seahorse Project lead and UTS PhD candidate Mitchell Brennan to talk about this bold new conservation effort.
