The Queen’s Nanny plays at Ensemble Theatre
Head to Ensemble Theatre for a royal night-out at the theatre, with the world premiere of The Queen’s Nanny.
It follows the life of Marion Crawford, the nanny of princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, and is a commentary on class and colonialism, questioning who gets to tell who’s story in a hierarchical world.
The Queen’s Nanny is an artistically lyrical, provocative and playful Australian take on the royals. It’s written by Melanie Tait, directed by Priscilla Jackman, and stars Emma Palmer who joined Danny Chifley on the Breakfast Show.
It plays at Ensemble Theatre from 6th September – 12th October.
