The Art Nouveau: ahead of the Curve is a four-part lecture series at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Author, presenter, and designer Claudia Chan Shaw is hosting Art Nouveau: ahead of the Curve, a four-part lecture series at the Art Gallery of New South Wales that finishes on 14 September.   

The lecture series looks at the Art Nouveau movement in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century and discusses some of the key figures of the art movement and its impacts on the art world and society in general.  

Claudia Chan Shaw joined 2SER Breakfast to talk about the lecture series, the work of the artist Alphonse Mucha, and the impact of art nouveau on Parisian and global impact on art.
