Jon Hopkins is an electronic musician, a composer, a sound designer and more.

He’s worked with a diverse range of artists, from Brian Eno to Coldplay. His new album RITUAL is a 41-minute ceremonial epic built from cavernous subs, hypnotic drumming and  melodic interplay. Tense, immersive and ultimately triumphant, it is a culmination of themes explored throughout his 22-year career.

Jon joined 2SER Breakfast to discuss his work, his process and the transcendental nature of music. His tolerance of host Danny Chifley is testament to the healing power of music.
