Brisbane will host a lecture on International Day of Peace, set by the United Nations.

In its 13th edition, the lecture will discuss how important a ceasefire is in Gaza and how this conflict affects both sides, with guests having lived experiences in conflicts within their families.

Dr Louise Adler from the Jewish Council of Australia and Nasser Mashni from the Australian Palestinian Advocacy Network will deliver the lecture.
