How Tragedy Shaped ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ – Under the Covers

If you ask anyone who’s responsible for ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’, you’ll usually hear two answers, Toploader in 2000, or King Harvest in 1972. In reality however, neither is responsible for the original, with that title being bestowed upon Boffalongo in 1972.

This week on Under the Covers, Max and Thomas discussed how original songwriter Sherman Kelly turned his traumatic experience in the US Virgin Islands into a song about spreading positivity and getting along with one another.

You can catch Under the Covers on Friday Drive at 4:30pm.
