Younger Australians living less than older generations
A recent report by Australian National University (ANU) found that younger people in Australia are set to be live less than their older counterparts above 50.
The report compared the life expectancies of those below 50 and above 50 of 6 English speaking countries and other high income countries.
It cites a number of factors such as drug use, risky behaviour caused by mental health issues.
