There are hundreds of types of “rare” cancers- types that affect people in uncommon ways that are not always easily diagnosed or treated. These types of cancers make up only a small portion of cancer diagnoses and yet account for half of all cancer deaths. It’s statistics like that that Rare Cancers Australia are trying to combat. CEO of Rare Cancers Australia, Christine Cockburn, joined Lachlan A’Court on the Tuesday Daily to talk about the work that RCA is doing as well as how we can support those who are dealing with a rare cancer diagnosis.

This Sunday 27th October, Lex van Santen is running the Tony Paramore Cup- a friendly football tournament- at Coral Sea Park in Maroubra to raise money for RCA.
