Saving My Ticket for Superchunk – Celebrating 30 Foolish Years

It’s been 30 years since North Carolina indie-rockers Superchunk released their classic fourth album, Foolish.

Widely considered their breakout album, it was also the band’s first for the label they founded, Merge Records, and the label’s biggest seller of its early years.

The New Yorker called Foolish Superchunk’s “best album… their Nevermind” and the album made SPIN’s top 20 albums of the year.

Mac from Superchunk joined 2SER Breakfast on the eve of their world tour to celebrate 30 years of Foolish. Experience the celebration live, with Smudge in support, on Friday December 13 – Crowbar, Sydney.
