“There is No Planet B”: “3 Minute Thesis” Competition Finalist talks the importance of the “Circular Economy”
Each year, Macquarie University hosts their annual 3 Minute Thesis competition. As they explain on their website, the average PhD thesis would take 9 hours to read aloud, and these students are given only three minutes.
Friday Daily Host Eleanor Godley spoke with finalist Swati Kasana about their thesis, titled “There is no Plan B. There is no Planet B”, a thought-provoking piece that stresses the importance of environmentalism and outlines some of the real-world obstacles to achieving it.
