Today We Remember
Curdie Chats with Epping RSL Veterans
This morning, Australians paused to observe a one-minute silence to honour and remember those who have served our country in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Monday Drive’s Ben Curdie attended the local Remembrance Day service at Epping RSL, where he spoke with Vice Presidents of the Epping RSL Sub Branch, John Curdie and David Taylor, as well as veterans Ron O’Connor, Andrew Brayshaw, and Brigadier David Leese. These men, who have all served in the armed forces, shared their personal reflections on what Remembrance Day means to them, offering a poignant insight into the sacrifices made by those who have worn the uniform.
