“Queen Of Eurovision” Senhit Explains How She Convinced Flo Rida To Perform With Her In 2021
This year I have made no secret of the fact that I am a huge Eurovision fan. On The Tuesday Daily we spent the entire month of May celebrating the song contest by listening to my series Eurovisionism which tackles all the fundamentals of Eurovision. Since then though, my Eurovision chatter has faded away in the unofficial “off season” between each contest. However, the off season is ending early this year as Eurovision On Tour brings their show to Australian cities throughout November!
This show is a party that celebrates Eurovision featuring many previous contestants (and winners) who will be performing their big songs along with some surprises. How do I know about the surprises? Because two time Eurovision contestant Senhit told me so!
Senhit represented San Marino in 2011 and 2021, with the latter being an incredibly memorable performance that took her and her co-star Flo Rida all the way to the Grand Final! Senhit is now travelling around with Eurovision On Tour and could not be more excited about it. She spoke to me ahead of the shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, explaining which cities have been her favourites so far, how she ended up skydiving as a joke, and what actually led to Flo Rida performing on the Eurovision stage with her in Rotterdam in 2021.
