In late January 2022, I went to the Opera House with my family to watch the musical Six for the first time. Since then, we have been back three more times for various runs of the show, including the one that is on right now in the Theatre Royal starring Zelia Rose Kitoko and Dierdre Khoo. Zelia and Dierdre came by the 2SER studios to talk about the musical, how many accents they can do, and whether they eat dinner before or after a performance.

Six tells the story of the six wives of Henry VIII through a musical competition, with each queen performing a song about themselves to see who really had the hardest life. Or at least, that’s what you’re told as the show begins. Over the following 80 minutes, however, the focus might just shift. You’ll have to see the show to find out for yourself.

The current run of Six is on at the Theatre Royal until 28th December, so make sure you don’t miss out on your chance to see Zelia and Dierdre shine!
