You might have seen Rachael Beck in Home & Away, City Homicide, Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, or many other roles in her decades-long career But now, she’s taking to the stage in a one-woman show!
In Her Own Words is Rachael’s brand-new collection of monologues interspersed with songs and surprising anecdotes from some extraordinary Australian women, as she turns the spotlight on our very own trail-blazers in arts and humanities, science, politics, sport, conservation and charity.
Rachael joined Tuesday Drive to tell us all about In Her Own Words, from how it was conceived to the personal stories shared, and what it was like learning from inspiring Australian women such as Kate Miller-Heidke, Louise Sauvage, Carlotta, and many others.
In Her Own Words will be running at the Sydney Theatre Company in Walsh Bay Arts Precinct from January 15th-18th as part of the 2025 Sydney Festival.
